Escherichia Coli (E. Coli)

Escherichia Coli or “E. coli” is one of the most common pathogens responsible for multiple product recalls every year. While most strains of E. coli are harmless to humans, some serotypes can cause serious food poisoning. Due to the severity of E. coli poisoning, the FDA issues strict regulation consumables to ensure this type of contamination does not reach the consumer. With this pathogen being such a concern of the FDA, we take pride in our E. coli testing methods and have educated microbiologists performing the work on all samples. We like to keep our clients educated on common pathogens such as E. coli.

If you would like to learn more about testing for E. coli, please send us an email or call our laboratory.
