About Us

KML Laboratories is a privately owned laboratory that primarily focuses on microbiology testing.  Our roots are located in the northern panhandle of Idaho, where the first laboratory was started in the home of CEO and owner, Jeff Varelman. Since then, we have outgrown several laboratories, but still reside in the small mountain town of Bonners Ferry, ID. Throughout these years, we have grown with the needs of our customers to provide testing services that far outmatch the services of competitors. We are constantly developing new assays and reviewing practices to better ensure the quality of our product. We have extensive experience working with bacteria of many varieties as well as managing the responsibilities that pertain to various client samples. Our staff consists of degreed microbiologists who quickly learn about our detailed testing practices with thorough on-site training. All inbound product samples are directly handled and tested by our microbiologists. KML Laboratories is here to give companies confidence in their testing results.
